Functions

Danks Street Depot can cater for any function you may wish to have with us. Following is some general information that may be helpful in deciding to have your function with us at Danks Street Depot. 

Please view an example of our function menus.  In keeping with Danks Street Depot philosophies we change our menu daily to ensure that our customers are receiving the freshest seasonal produce available. Therefore menus will be finalised with you closer to the time of the function.

Please note that if you wish, we can hold a tentative reservation on a date you request for up to 7 days without a deposit.

Should you want to make an function enquiry or to make a booking please fill out the online booking enquiry form. We have packages that will suit every occasion and are more than happy to design a menu for your specific needs. When completing the form please provide us with as much information you can, in regards to menu choices if you can be specific please do so otherwise simply indicate what you have in mind (i.e. sit down dinner, cocktails and canape's etc..). Once you have sent the form our Functions Manager will contact you as soon as possible.

General Function Information 
Capacity
  • The cafe and bar can comfortably seat 80 people
  • The cafe and bar can accommodate 250 standing
  • In the gallery area, we can cater for up to 150 people sit - down & 500 people standing
Costs

The cost to book the whole cafe and bar is a minimum spend of $6500

The cost to book the bar area only (capacity seating 28, standing 80) is a minimum spend of $2500

Menu choices
  • Alternate meals: this is where two dishes in each set course selection will be placed alternately on the table
  • Informal platters: this is where platters of each set course selection will be placed down the centre of the table for your guests to serve themselves, alternatively,
  • you could have a selection of both

'Alternate meal' set dinner menus start at;

Some basic catering costs are;
  • The cost for 'nibbles' - dips and nuts on the bar, start at $15.00 per person
  • The cost for 'canapes' - plated canapes served by waiters, start at $35.00 per person
