A partnership between Jared Ingersoll and Melanie Starr, Danks Street Depot opened in 2002 - one of the first to make a home in what is now a thriving gastronomic neighbourhood.

Founded on the principles of the Slow Food movement, Danks Street Depot, vibrant café and bar, continues to showcase sustainable and ethical principles; championing local producers, seasonal produce and low food miles where possible.

The food philosophy here is simple: To create uncomplicated, delicious food. A movable feast, the menu changes daily, celebrating the best produce of the day. If an ingredient is fantastic, it goes on the menu. Danks Street Depot also proudly supports small-scale and artisan producers and their unique offerings.
